In 2005 Bruce LeVell was appointed to the Gwinnett Village Community Improvement District. As a board member for the revitalization of the Gwinnett Village, Bruce has lead the way to identify and implement creative solutions that combat urban decay and improve the lives and businesses of those who reside in the district.
Bruce has served as the Gwinnett County representative on the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority board of directors since 2005. As the vice-chair of Operations Bruce oversees the planning and operations of transit oriented development, and focuses on policies and procedures governing the authority.
As the owner of The Diamond Warehouse, a small business located in Gwinnett since 1995, has earned a reputation as someone who is committed to the community and as someone who is not afraid to act - especially in defense of the county that he loves. Bruce has a Graduate degree from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA).
Bruce has been married to Sharon, his wife, for 16 years, and they have two children Kyle 10 years old and Leah 13 years old.
Bruce and his family are active members at Victory World Church, located in Norcross. He is also a volunteer coach for the Peachtree Ridge youth basketball and baseball associations.
Bruce LeVell has a Business Management degree from Central Texas College, a certificate from Directors’ College at Terry School of Business, University of Georgia, and completed “Leadership: 21st Century” program at John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.
